Introduction
This Refund Policy describes how DashBoardly AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles refunds for paid subscriptions on the DashBoardly platform (the “Service”).
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates (“Paddle”), who act as the merchant of record. Charges on your statement may appear under Paddle rather than DashBoardly.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. Where consumer protection law requires a more generous remedy than this policy, that law applies.
Plans and trials
DashBoardly offers a Trial plan and paid Analyst and Professional subscriptions, billed monthly (and yearly where available) through Paddle Checkout.
The Trial plan is billed at $0. There is nothing to refund for Trial usage unless a later paid charge was taken in error.
When we refund
We will refund a charge, in full or in part, when:
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong plan, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation).
- You request a refund within 14 days of the first paid charge on a new paid subscription, and applicable consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal.
- The Service was unavailable for a material, continuous period during a paid billing cycle and we cannot reasonably restore access.
- Paddle or we determine that a refund is required under card-network rules or applicable law.
When we typically do not refund
Except where required by law, paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable once you have used the Service during that billing period. In particular:
- Unused time remaining in a monthly or yearly period after you cancel (cancellation stops future renewals; it does not reverse time already billed).
- Downgrades, unused seats, or unused features during an active paid period.
- Charges you authorized after the 14-day window for a first paid subscription, where you continued to use the Service.
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
How to request a refund
Email support@dashboardly.app or use the contact page. Include the email on your DashBoardly account, the approximate charge date, and the reason for the request.
You may also contact Paddle, who processed the payment. We review refund requests as soon as reasonably possible, usually within 5 business days.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Bank and card networks typically take 5–10 business days to show the credit. We cannot send refunds to a different card or bank account.
Cancellation versus refund
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from Settings → Billing (or the Paddle customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we agree otherwise. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period.
After cancellation you keep access until the period ends, then the account returns to Trial limits.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, Paddle and the card network handle the dispute. Please contact us first so we can correct billing mistakes faster than a chargeback.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Material changes apply to charges taken after the update is published.
